This survey was conducted to collect data on the use of media by Korean American Youths and their value systems for the purpose of studying the effects of Korean mass media on the formation of cultural identity of second generation Korean immigrant youths.
The main contents of the survey include state of mass media utilization, peer relations, school life, proficiency in Korean and English, occupation and education level of parents, relationship with parents, family education, attitude towards the US and Americans, experience of discrimination, life values, awareness of gender equality, subjective sense of belonging, and attitude towards Koreans.
