Abstract

The youth volunteer program established in 1995 as a part of school education has achieved the results of expanding youth participation in community service but has failed to achieve the educational results the program aimed for. This survey was conducted by the Gyeonggido Family and Women's Research Institute among middle school and high school students as well as teachers of the Gyeonggi-do area to examine the state of guidance and participation in volunteer activities to find policy measures to substantialize the current youth volunteer program.
This data was collected from middle school and high school students and includes contents on reason for participating in volunteer activities, hours of volunteer work per year, area of volunteer activity, level of satisfaction in volunteer activity, difficulties in conducting volunteer activities, intention of participating in volunteer activities, attitude towards prior training and evaluation activities, opinion on the problems of volunteer activities and measures for reform, recognition of institutions related to volunteer activities, appropriate hours of volunteer work, and preferred type of volunteer activity.

Usage

「경기도 청소년 봉사활동 실태조사」는 중·고등학생(A1-2008-0038)과 교사(A1-2008-0039)를 대상으로 동시에 시행되었다.
