Survey on the City Image of Gwangju, 2010

This survey was conducted by the Gwangju Development Institute to collect basic data for the establishment of a city brand for Gwangju metropolitan city. In order to conduct a subjective examination of the image of Gwangju this survey collected data both from the citizens of Gwangju and those from other areas as well.
The topics surveyed among the citizens of Gwangju include conditions for enhancing the image of Gwangju, and the development of various areas in Gwangju. Topics surveyed among the citizens of other cities include experience of visiting Gwangju and reason for visit, evaluation of Gwangju’s various aspects, channel of obtaining information related to Gwangju, and the recognition of Gwangju’s policies. Topics surveyed among both groups include the representative image of Gwangju, the representative brand of Gwangju, pros and cons of Gwangju, and the evaluation of brand slogan.
