Survey on Gwangju Citizens’ Perception of Educational Issues, 2009

This survey was conducted to evaluate the local education policy under an indirect election system prior to the direct election of Gwangju’s superintendent. The data collected from the citizens of Gwangju includes contents on educational issues to be resolved, educational ideology to be pursued, trust in public and private education, pros and cons of establishing autonomous private schools and foreign language schools, evaluation of Gwangju’s policy on education, image of the Korean Teachers & Educational Workers' Union, and evaluation of the Korean Teachers & Educational Workers' Union’s activities.
