Abstract

This survey was conducted by the JoongAng Ilbo (daily newspaper) before and after the determination of candidacy to forecast the approval ratings among potential candidates of the sixteen metropolitan city and provincial elections prior to the「5th Nationwide Regional Elections」to be held on June 2nd 2010.
This collection of data is from the first survey conducted before the confirmation of candidates collected from the sixteen cities and provinces and, along with the approval rating for each region’s candidates in simulated competition, includes contents on intention of voting, assessment of President’s government administration, and party identification.
Each set of data should be analyzed using the weight variable based on the number of voters by sex, age, and area.
