Abstract
This survey was conducted by the KBS Broadcast Research Institute to discover the public's perception of the media's coverage on the private lives of celebrities. The survey was conducted among an online panel of the KBS Broadcasting Culture Research Center.
The main contents of the survey include degree of interest in celebrity news, degree of interest in the media coverage on Seo Taeji's divorce, evaluation of Seo Taeji's attitude, pros and cons of celebrities' strategy of mysticism, opinion on the obligation of celebrities to disclose their private lives, the appropriateness of the media's coverage of the private lives of celebrities, and the seriousness of netizens' gathering of information on the private lives of celebrities, etc.
