Abstract
This survey was conducted by the KBS Broadcast Research Institute ahead of the implementation of the 'five day school week system' to ascertain the public's opinion regarding the system. The survey was conducted among the KBS Broadcast Research Institute online panel.
The main contents of the survey include pros and cons of the five day school week system, reason for opposing or supporting the five day school week system, appropriate timing for implementing the five day school week system, for married respondents whether both spouses are working and whether he or she has school aged children, childcare method on Saturdays, ways of utilizing children's free time on Saturdays, and supplemental policies for the five day school week system, etc.
