Abstract
This survey was conducted by the KBS Broadcast Research Institute to ascertain the public's opinion on welfare policy in regards to the welfare dispute dichotomized between selective welfare and universal welfare. The survey was conducted among an online panel of the KBS Broadcasting Culture Research Center.
The main contents of the survey include assessment of the government's keynote welfare policy, approval rating of the government's welfare policy, approval rating of the free lunch program, approval rating of the free welfare policy, approval rating of the universal welfare policy, urgent welfare problems, development direction for welfare policy, areas for expanded welfare, effect of welfare expansion on economic development and social integration, attitudes toward the expansion of welfare spending, measures for raising welfare resources, intention of paying additional taxes for the expansion of welfare, and subjective class identification, etc.
