Abstract

Since the Roh administration the implementation of performance management systems by the central government ministries has been expanding. However, in some ministries the existence of an apparent gap between the evaluation by the performance management system and the evaluation by the members of the organization has become more frequent. This survey was conducted to investigate the problems of the performance management system and to find a solution by examining the level of acceptance of the evaluation results by the government’s performance management system by the members of the organization.
The questionnaire of this survey includes questions on the level of systematization of the performance management system, fairness of performance evaluation, level of trust in performance evaluation, the economics of the performance management system, suitability of compensation according to performance evaluation, psychological burden due to performance management system, acceptance of the performance management system by organizational culture, level of support for the performance management information system, need for a performance management system, effects of performance management system, points for improvement of performance management system, level of work satisfaction, and organizational commitment.
