Abstract
이 자료는 일제시대 강원지역의 독립운동가와 현재 강원도에 거주 하고 있는 북한 출신 실향민들을 대상으로 항일독립운동 상황과 독립운동가의 당시 활동사항을 파악하고, 북한 출신 실향민들의 민속, 생활관습, 사고방식 등을 파악하기 위해 수집한 인터뷰 자료이다.
강원지역 독립운동가 인터뷰 대상자는 강릉 출신 김삼선생으로, 대동청년단 사건으로 5년간(1940-1945년) 함흥형무소에서 복역한 일로 1963년 대통령표창과 1990년 건국훈장 애족장을 수상한 인물이다. 인터뷰 내용은 어린 시절, 삼원당 서점 경영과 독서회 활동, 독립운동의 계기, 일제의 고문과 함흥형무소에서의 감옥생활, ‘김삼’으로의 개명, 우국동지회와 건국청년회의 창설, 김구와의 인연(신임을 얻은 사연) 등이다.
북한출신 실향민은 모두 10명을 인터뷰하였는데 그 중 3쌍의 부부를 포함하여 8명에 대한 자료가 구축되었다. 인터뷰 내용은 월남의 계기와 정착, 6.25 전쟁 경험, 전쟁 중 질병에 대한 대처, 일제시대 북한에서의 학교교육 및 군사훈련, 북한에서 보낸 명절에 대한 기억 및 마을신앙 등 민속, 북한 방문 및 가족면회 의향 등이다.
