Abstract
The「Survey on the Image of Tourism in Haenam-Gun」was conducted to collect data for the establishment of policy on the development of the tourism industry in Haenam-gun. The survey was conducted among the residents of Haenam, Seoul/Gwangju/Jeonnam areas with varying contents, and this data is composed of two different data files according to regions.
The questionnaire of the Haenam area survey includes questions on tourist attractions in the Haenam area, tourism industry’s degree of contribution to the regional economy, evaluation of the potential of Haenam’s tourism resources, images related to Haenam, progress of future regional development, tourism infrastructure to be reformed, and the development of a tourism/leisure industrial city. The Seoul/Gwangju/Jeonnam area questionnaire includes questions on tourism resources of Haenam, experience of visiting Haenam and inclination for a future visit, images related to Haenam, tourism infrastructure to be reformed, and type of lodging preferred.
