Abstract
「한국 텔레비전 드라마 수용을 통한 아시아 여성의 정체성 연구」는 한국을 포함한 동아시아 여성들의 한국 텔레비전 드라마 시청행태와 드라마 수용양상을 성(gender) 정치적 관점에서 분석하여 이들의 여성 정체성을 파악하고자 수행되었다. 이를 위해 동아시아 4개국(한국, 중국, 홍콩, 대만)의 한국 드라마 여성 팬 69명을 대상으로 심층인터뷰를 실시하였으며, 이 자료는 그 가운데 18명의 한국 여성들로부터 수집된 것이다.
주요 조사내용은 드라마 시청 행태, 드라마 선택 요인, 드라마를 통해 얻는 의미와 즐거움, 드라마 (내용)에 대한 해석, 드라마 소비가 의식이나 행동에 미치는 영향, 이상적 여성상과 성역할, 개인적 배경 및 관련 생애사 등이다.
