In concert with a trend of low-birthrate various policies on pregnancy and childbirth have been suggested, but as many of these policies were created based on a perception of social crisis and not as a women’s health issue their effects are limited. This survey was conducted to collected basic data for「Study on Policy Measures for Pregnancy and Childbirth Support of Women in Gyeonggi-do」and aims to examine the state of childbirth in the Gyeonggi-do area and attitude towards childbirth. The questionnaire includes contents on marriage and views on children, state of childbirth and childrearing, attitude towards low-birthrate, awareness of birth support policy and receiving benefits.
