Abstract
The survey, in an era of decentralization, was conducted for the purpose of analyzing the competence and prospects of women in regional areas among administration officials, women activists, and ordinary women in the Gyeongnam area.
The main contents of the survey includes awareness of gender equality, community participation status, women's groups activity assessment, awareness and degree of satisfaction of policy on women in regional areas, level of improvement in the foothold for participation by women following the local government system, awareness of the need for policy on women, evaluation of regional policy on women, and intention of administrative participation.
