This survey was conducted among police officers under the rank of lieutenant working in the investigations bureau at police stations and smaller branch offices on the state of human rights violations on the job or during investigative processes for a systematic approach to human rights issues and the Korean police. The questionnaire is composed of basic police tasks, accompaniment and patrol, investigative functions of the police, information gathering and management, state of facility and equipment management, state of running human rights violation prevention system, human rights status of police officers.
