Abstract

The「Survey on the Living Conditions and Attitudes of Families in Gyeonggi-do」was conducted to provide useful data for establishing support measures by examining the level of poverty and state of child education of low income families. This survey was conducted by selecting households within Gyeonggi-do and simultaneously surveying the parents and children of each household, and this data was collected from children. The questionnaire includes contents on adaptation to school life, peer relations, family life, family relations, self-esteem, attitude toward social mobility, attitude toward parents’ understanding of children’s education, expectation of educational support from parents, after school activities, attitude toward educational welfare policy, and need for educational welfare.
