The「EAI·JoonAng Daily Party Policy-Supporter Conflict Survey, 2006」is a follow-up study to the「Ideological Analysis」, an analysis of the similarities and differences in party policy conducted in November 2005 by the East Asian Institute, conducted to examine to what degree voters sympathize with the policy of the party they support. The survey examines voters’ attitudes towards 26 policies out of the 37 policies analyzed in the 「Ideological Analysis」 excluding those that have already been legislated or have ambiguous meaning.
The questionnaire includes contents on party identification, reason for party identification, disliked party, reason for disliking, party policy recognition, evaluation of party presenting feasible policy, arguments for and against policies in different areas, opinion on activities of teachers’ labor union, opinion on US military in Korea, voting, ideological tendencies.
Measured since the release date of the current version data.
