The Korean legal market has grown dramatically following the significant systematic changes that took place since the year 2000. Nevertheless, no consequential studies exist on the changes resulting from the system changes and market expansion.
This survey was conducted to examine the state of case brokers and their roles in case assignments and fees, and to investigate the opinions of lawyers on the current situation. The questionnaire includes contents on problems in the field of law and law professionals, state of case assignments by law firms, and customs of case brokerage fee payments.
