Abstract

The narcotics control policy of Korea, due to its reliance on a criminal penalties approach, is resulting in costs for crime control as well as social costs in cases of increasing recidivism. Thus, in order for control policies to succeed it requires systematic preventive education measures and effective policy on controlling repeated offences and resocialization.
The「Survey on Preventive Measures for Drug Use and the Social Rehabilitation of Drug Addicts」was conducted to investigate the current state of measures for the prevention of drug abuse and social rehabilitation of drug addicts and to collect basic data for the establishment of legal reform measures for its revitalization. The survey was conducted among professionals. The questionnaire is composed of contents on the unification of authorities in charge of narcotics, preventive measures for drugs, general support facility for drug addicts, rehabilitation community, need for support facilities, and the evaluation of the Korean Anti-Drug Campaign Center.

「마약류 예방사업 및 마약류 중독자 사회복귀 활성화를 위한 체계구축에 관한 연구」는 "약물의존자 치료 및 사회복귀방안에 관한 조사 (A1-2007-0016)" 와 "마약류 예방 및 의존자 사회복귀 활성화 방안에 관한 조사 (A1-2007-0017)"로 구성되어 있으며, 모두 KOSSDA에서 이용가능 하다.
