Abstract

By examining the opinions of Korean citizens on the employment insurance system to be enacted on July 1st 1995 this survey aims to collect data essential for the establishment of realistic and practical policies. The questionnaire includes contents on main product, number of workers, total wage, sales amount, weight of exports, existence of labor union, employment adjustment, suspension of business, reduction of operation, adjustment of number of workers, personnel reallocation, plans for employment adjustment, employment security action, personnel shortage, employment status of the elderly/disabled/housewives, and state of vocational training.
