Survey on the Employment and Lives of Construction Workers, 1998

This survey was conducted to examine the lives and employment status of construction workers who were directly affected by the 1997 financial crisis. The questionnaire is composed of two parts, one on the state of employment and another on the state of living. The questions on the state of employment include average number of working days per month, wage level, unemployment insurance benefits, job search information source, intention of job change, experience of overdue wages, and measures for resolving unemployment. The questions on state of living includes type of accommodation, area of residence, average monthly income, occupation of spouse, size of debt, standard of living, opinion on burden-sharing.
