Abstract
「Survey on the Victimization and Protection of Foreigners in Korea」was conducted by the Korean Institute of Criminology to examine the state of crime victimization and protection of foreigners in Korea by relevant authorities and to present policy alternatives. The survey was conducted separately among natives and foreigners and this data was collected from persons in occupations exposed to cases of inconveniences or victimization of foreigners including employees of Korea Tourism Organization, airline employees, hotel employees, and university students. The questionnaire includes contents on public security in Korea, crime victimization of foreigners residing in Korea, state of protection of foreigners by relevant authorities, and protective measures for foreigners residing in Korea.
