Abstract

The「Survey on the Evaluation System and Human Resource Management of Korean Companies」 was conducted to examine the present conditions of corporate operation and human resource management and to facilitate the study of a Korean human resource management model that may aid corporate economic activities. The survey is composed of data from representatives of human resources and planning and organization departments, and this data was collected from representatives of personnel departments.
The questionnaire is composed of contents on the state of corporate operations and corporate culture. The section on the state of corporate operations includes questions on management system, corporate organizational structure, foreign investment ratio, main product, business strategy, changes in corporate environment and response strategy. The section on corporate culture includes question on company’s points of emphasis for increased productivity, human resource management, authority and role of human resource executive, industrial relations, and employee participation system.
