Although each year over 30,000 workers are becoming disabled due to industrial injuries and are experiencing difficulties returning to work and adjusting to society there is little effort being made in understanding the present conditions of industrially injured workers or to establish social support measures. This survey was conducted to establish a system of rehabilitation and care for the return of those disabled by industrial injuries and to develop practical programs. The questionnaire includes contents on types of industrial injuries, degree of industrial injury, comparison between daily life after and before industrial injury, evaluation of support programs for industrially injured worker, and vocational training.
