Abstract
The「National Public Opinion Survey on the Final Hearing of the May 18th Democratic Uprising」aims to propose a direction for the government’s policy decision making and to use the survey results in pursuing 5.18 related enterprises by understanding the opinion of Korean citizens on the 5.18 trial and final sentencing. The survey was conducted twice four days apart and this data is from the second survey. The questionnaire includes contents on opinion on the final sentence, evaluation of the trial, investigation of the truth on 5.18, prospect of punishment for related persons, 5.18 commemorative enterprise, party identification, need for food aid to North Korea.
