Abstract
This survey is a follow up to the「Quality of life: Survey on Space and Environment」conducted by the Institute for Social Sciences of Gyeongsang National University in 1995 to establish data for the continual analyses of the relationship between the local community environment and the quality of life. The questionnaire designed for the study of the relationship between the spatial identity of a local community and the quality of life includes contents on significance of the quality of life, level of satisfaction with quality of life, local identity, and affinity towards local community.

- 1995년부터 계속되어온 진주지역의 삶의 질 계속 연구의 일환이다. 동일 지역에 대한 동일 연구의 반복을 통해 변수들간의 안정적 관계를 확보하려는 노력이었다. 그럼에도 약간씩 조사방법에 있어서의 변화를 꾀하여 보았다는데, 이전에 비해 응답척도를 5점 척도에서 7점척도로 바꾸었던 것이 한 예가 되겠다.
