The attendance center order system is a sentence for offenders of relatively light misconduct ordering them to designated hours of lectures, training, and counseling. It is a system introduced to maximize the correctional effects through a quick and effective shock therapy method of depriving the offenders of their weekend leisure time. The survey was conducted to examine the attendance center order system being enforced in Korea and to provide useful data for the establishment of reform measures for a more effective operation of the system. The questionnaire includes contents on educational effects of Saturday classes, evaluation of contents of Saturday classes, experience of participating in attendance center order program, level of satisfaction with education, preferred education program, effects of attendance center order program, and experience of crime after participating in attendance center order program.
