The「Survey on Sexual Offences and Sexual Culture in Korea」began from the critical approach that sexual violence arises from the perversion in the formation of equality and intimacy in relationships between men and women by patriarchal sexual ideology and that our society’s patriarchal sexual culture leads to the toleration of sexual violence by men. The survey aims to examine the state of sexual violence as well as attitudes towards sexual violence and was conducted separately among men and women. This data was collected from men residing in Seoul. The questionnaire is composed of questions dealing with opinions on sexual crime and sexual culture.
