Female inmates in most societies are treated as forgotten offenders in comparison to male inmates. Furthermore, prison facilities for female inmates are also often neglected and lack the attention and investment received by male prison facilities.「Survey on the Treatment of Female Inmates」was conducted to examine the treatment of female inmates and collect primary data needed to recommend measures for improvement. This survey was collected from female inmates and is composed of data on correctional facilities and the values and attitudes of female inmates. The questionnaire is composed of contents on hygiene, clothing and bedding, prison facility, meals and medical care, appeals process and visitations, correctional work and vocational training, and work station related subjects.
