Abstract
The「Survey on Vocational Training of Inmates」was conducted to collect data useful for the establishment of a vocational training system to aid inmates readjust to society after being discharged from prison by investigating the inmates’ opinion as well as the state of vocational training received by inmates in correctional facilities. The survey was conducted in 2000 and 2003 and this data was collected in 2000. The questionnaire includes contents on occupation prior to imprisonment, daily life in prison, occupational view, experience of vocational training, treatment of vocational trainee, educational condition, plans for after being discharged from prison, and reform measure for vocational training.
