Abstract
조사목적은 크게 두 가지로 나뉜다. 첫째는, 수형기간 동안 직업훈련을 받고 기능자격을 취득한 여성출소자[여자소년원 (가)퇴원생 포함]들을 대상으로 그들의 취업 및 생활실태를 조사하는 것이고, 둘째는 그들이 과거 교정기관에서 이수하고 취득한 직업훈련 및 기능자격을 수용자가 아닌 사회인의 시각에서 어떻게 바라보고 있으며, 실제로 구직을 함에 있어서는 그것들이 어떠한 역할을 하였는지 평가하는 것이다. 설문조사는 우리나라 유일의 여성전용 교도소인 청주여자교도소와 여성전용 소년보호교육기관인 안양소년원에서 직업훈련을 받고 1994년 이후에 출소한 216명(청주여자교도소 140명, 안양소년원 76명)의 여성들을 대상으로 그들의 생활실태, 기능자격, 직업 및 경제활동, 직업훈련의 과정과 효과에 대한 평가 등을 조사하였다.
