The percentage of female juvenile delinquents is on the rise calling for gender specific programs for juveniles. This survey was conducted for the purpose of examining the state of correctional treatment of female juvenile delinquents and to provide useful data for the development of policies to aid their rehabilitation and effectively decrease recidivism. The questionnaire is composed of contents on the experiences and thoughts of female juvenile delinquents and current state of living. The domain of experience and thoughts includes questions on relationship with parents, domestic violence, and reason for entering juvenile reformatory. And the domain of current life status includes questions on activities within the reformatory, evaluation of life in consignment, problems and issues, evaluation of educational content, plans for after discharge, and measure for preventing repeated offences.
