Abstract

The「Survey on Parent Participation in the Enforcement of Probation」was conducted by the Korean Institute of Criminology to examine opinions on the parenting order encouraging the voluntary participation of the parents of juvenile delinquents in the process of probation and to investigate its suitability. The survey, by conducting the surveys among probation officers and juvenile court judges who have close experiences with the juvenile delinquents and their parents, is designed to examine the problems and conditions of the education programs for parents of juvenile delinquents currently being run in parts. This data was collected from juvenile court judges. The questionnaire is composed of contents on sentencing to parenting order, parent education program, parent attendance at hearing, obstacles of parent participation, and system of special education order.
