This survey was especially conducted to collect data for the development of effective correctional programs based on the accurate understanding of the characteristics and prison life of long term inmates. The questionnaire includes contents on characteristics of long term inmates, effects of imprisonment, attitude towards law, treatment program, interaction with society, and plans for after release.
