With the recent development of various monitoring technologies, not only monitoring between countries but illegal monitoring by individuals is on the rise. The purpose of this survey is to investigate the illegal monitoring situation in Korean society and to collect data on the importing, production, sales, and distribution of illegal monitoring devices. This survey provides useful preliminary data for the provision of methods of effectively preventing and regulating illegal monitoring and the distribution of illegal monitoring devices.
