Abstract
The interest of the citizens is on the rise following President Roh Moo-hyun’s mention of reorganization in power structure and politics. This survey was designed with the purpose of examining the citizens’ position on the amendment of the constitution and coalition since the discussion of power structure reorganization initiated by politicians can only be realized with the support of the citizens. Furthermore, the survey was designed to allow the analysis of attitudes of the political foothold of each party since the issue of power structure reorganization is a case where each party’s interests are sharply entangled.
The questionnaire includes questions on the effectiveness of the presidential system, need for amending the constitution, appropriate power structure, evaluation of current administration’s conducting of state affairs, opinion on coalition, party identification, and ideological identity.
