Abstract
이 조사는 한국형사정책연구원이 정신질환 소년원생들의 처우 현황과 문제점을 파악하여 향후 효과적인 치료와 재활을 위한 개선방안을 마련하는 데 필요한 기초자료를 수집하고자 시행한 것이다.
이 자료는 전국의 소년원과 서울소년분류심사원에서 근무하는 직원으로부터 수집되었으며, 주요 조사내용은 대전소년원 이송 필요 원생들의 정신질환 증상과 의료·재활 처우가 필요한 이유, 대전소년원의 의료·재활 처우 효과, 일반소년원 정신질환자 처우 경험, 심신건강회복반 운영 효과 및 개선방안에 대한 인식, 의료소년원 운영 및 치료 효과, 의료소년원 운영 개선방안에 대한 인식, 대전소년원에서의 의료처우가 부적합한 이유 등이다.
