Abstract
This survey was conducted as a part of the research project on the「Social Development for Better Social Quality」being conducted by Seoul National University’s Institute for Social Development and Policy Research to collect data on the level of danger in Korean society and the process of social amplification of risk and danger.
The questionnaire of the survey includes contents on perception of danger, evaluation of level of social safety, perception of food safety, perception of energy safety, perception of US beef and mad cow disease, social participation regarding the import of US beef, evaluation of the government’s policy on the import of US beef, perception of disease, trust in major institutions, social support network, experience of danger, political attitude, assessment of communication among groups, subjective class consciousness, human rights consciousness, and the state of human rights violations.
