Abstract
Gwangju Dream the regional newspaper of Gwangju conducted a public opinion survey among the citizens of Gwangju in commemoration of its 100th issue, and the results were published in its 100th edition as a special article. Through this survey data on the following topics were collected: economic sentiment, level of life satisfaction in Gwangju, frequency of subway use, bus system user satisfaction, attitude towards Gwangju Biennale and Gwangju International Film Festival, evaluation of development plans for Gwangju cultural hub city, evaluation of the mayor of Gwangju, local issues to be resolved, evaluation of local assembly, pro and cons of major local issues.
