Abstract
이 조사연구는 새마을금고의 이념체계 재정립과 조직문화 정립이라는 목표를 염두에 두고 시행되었다. 새마을 금고의 구조와 조직에 대한 검토, 교육과 복지에 대한 현황, 임직원 및 회원의 가치의식 등을 중심으로 조직문화를 재정립하고 생산성을 제고하기 위한 방안을 마련하고 있다. 이 조사연구의 내용은 새마을금고에 대한 평가, 사회환경의 변화가 새마을금고에 미치는 영향, 새마을 금고의 권한, 시중은행과 비교, 민주적 운영원칙에 대한 의견, 직장생활에 대한 평가, 지역사회의 공헌도, 바람직한 조직문화, 예산규모, 자산규모, 직원수, 회원수, 복지사업 등을 포함하고 있다.
